St. Luke’s is the first Temple University School of Medicine Clinical Campus in Northeastern Pennsylvania and provides clinical rotations for third- and fourth-year Temple medical students.
Oldest, Continuously Operating Diploma School of Nursing
In 1884, St. Luke’s became the fourth hospital in the United States to open a nursing school. Today, the fully accredited St. Luke’s School of Nursing has the distinction of being the nation’s oldest, continuously operating, hospital-based diploma nursing school. St. Luke’s also has an affiliation agreement with Moravian College of Bethlehem to offer a fully accredited baccalaureate degree in nursing.
