St. Luke's has twice been named one of the best 25 teaching hospitals in the U.S. St. Luke's is one of only 400 members of the Council of Teaching Hospitals. St. Luke's Internal Medicine residency is the only program in Pennsylvania to achieve 100 percent pass rate for 10 consecutive years on post-residency national certifying examinations.

St. Luke's is the first Temple University School of Medicine Clinical Campus in Northeastern Pennsylvania and provides clinical rotations for third- and fourth-year Temple students.

St. Luke's operates a fully accredited diploma School of Nursing and has an affiliation with Moravian College of Bethlehem to offer a fully accredited baccalaureate nursing degree as well as RN to BS and MS degree programs.
