Dr. Raymond Durkin Named Chief of Cardiology, St. Luke's Hospital & Network
Dr. Raymond Durkin
Bethlehem, PA (4-1-2009) - Raymond A. Durkin, MD, FACC, one of the region's foremost interventional cardiologists, has been appointed Chief of Cardiology for St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network.

Dr. Durkin has earned board certification in cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology, as well as internal medicine. He has been a member of St. Luke's Medical Staff since 1995. He is currently associated with Progressive Physicians Associates, Inc., in their Cardiology Division.

A native of Wilkes-Barre, he is a graduate of Hahnemann University School of Medicine and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Lehigh Valley Hospital and a cardiovascular fellowship at The Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood.
Dr. Durkin is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the College of Medicine at The Pennsylvania State University and a Clinical Professor/Preceptor in the Physician Assistant Program at DeSales University.
Dr. Durkin resides in Coopersburg with his wife and three children.
