Love and care is our mission

Hospice patients are cared for by a team of highly trained professionals. Hospice team members see love and caring as key parts of their mission.

The hospice team includes...

Most of our nurses and many of the other health care professionals on the team have special training or certification in hospice and palliative care.


Featured Staff

Jenni Levy, MD

  • Dr. Levy became Medical Director of St. Luke's Hospice in 2009 after serving as Associate Medical Director for two years.
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice/Palliative Care
  • Graduate of Princeton University with a degree in English and American Studies
  • Received her Medical Degree from New York Medical College
  • Completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Santa Clara, California. She then completed a one-year fellowship in primary care before becoming a member of the residency faculty at Kaiser.
  • Dr. Levy came to the Lehigh Valley in 1991 and served as faculty in the Internal Medicine Residency and director of the Medical Clinic at Lehigh Valley Hospital. She entered private practice in Bethlehem in 2001 and taught in the Medical Residency program at St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network for six years.
  • Certified facilitator and member of the faculty of the American Association of Communication in Healthcare, member of the American College of Physicians, and member of the American Association of Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine.
  • She is a past president and current ritual chair of Congregation Am Haskalah.
  • Dr. Levy lives in Allentown with her husband, daughter and dogs.

Joanne Calabrese, DO

  • Physician Designee for St. Luke's Hospice Carbon office
  • Earned undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Scranton in Scranton, Pennsylvania
  • Earned medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
  • Completed traditional internship at Suburban General Hospital in Norristown, Pennsylvania
  • Completed the Family Practice Residency program at the Crozer-Keystone Health System in southeastern, Pennsylvania
  • Completed the Internal Medicine Residency program at Mercy Suburban Hospital in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania
  • Received master's of bioethics degree at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with a particular interesting community and professional education on topics dealing with end of life care.
  • Board certified in internal medicine
  • Her private practice is St. Luke's Internal Medicine – Tamaqua, an office-based internal medicine practice with emphasis on preventative care and disease management.

Linda Moller, RNC, MSN, CHPCA

Director of Hospice

  • Graduate of Abington Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and holds a bachelor's degree in nursing from DeSales University
  • Master's degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix
  • 21 years of leadership and management experience
  • Developed a perinatal bereavement program and facilitated a support group working with parents and families affected by perinatal loss
  • Winner of St Luke's 2007 Nursing Excellence Award for Leadership; award nomination in 2008
  • Formerly the Patient Care Manager for Bethlehem home Hospice team and Inpatient Hospice House
  • Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Administrator

Rev. Anne Huey, MDiv, MSHS, BCC

Spiritual and Bereavement Care Manager, St. Luke's Hospice

  • Earned Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary and Master of Science in End-Of-Life Care from The George Washington University
  • Board certified as a chaplain since 1989
  • Experience includes over two decades of working with hospice and end-of-life programs and more than 30 years in the ministry 
  • Currently supervises the spiritual and bereavement care programs and provides end-of-life education

Linda A Potillo RN, CHPN

Patient Care Manager St. Luke's Hospice House

  • A graduate of St. Luke's School of Nursing and pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Moravian College
  • Certified as Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse
  • Member of the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association; National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization; Hospice Quality Council and Network Practice Nursing Council
  • Enjoys traveling and reading

Janie Connor, RN

Patient Care Manager, St. Luke’s Hospice – Carbon Office

  • Has worked in the fields of hospice and oncology since 1996
  • Nursing experience in medical surgical nursing, home health care, hospice care, oncology and physician practice
  • Formerly worked for Lehigh Valley Hospice providing care in the home hospice setting 
  • Certified in Oncology since 1999
  • Awarded an associates degree in Nursing from Lehigh Carbon Community College and is continuing her education with Drexel University
  • Pursuing certification in hospice care
  • Active in the Oncology Nursing Society, and is a board member for the local Greater Lehigh Valley Oncology Nursing Society Chapter

Mary O'Donnell-Miller RN, BSN, CHPN

Patient Care Manager, St. Luke's Hospice- Bethlehem Office

  • Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Gwyenned Mercy College
  • Certified in Hospice Palliative Care since 1998
  • Member of Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association, Oncology Nursing Society, VNA Patient Education Committee, St. Luke's Network Strategic Planning Task Force.
  • Experience includes 15 years in Hospice Nursing as Case Manager, Liaison, and Manager
  • Received the Nursing Excellence Award for Definition of Nursing in 2006

Sandra Holowathy, LSW, BSW, MSW

Hospice Social Work Manager

  • Bachelor's of Social Work from Cedar Crest College
  • Master's of Social Work from Marywood College
  • Licensed in Commonwealth of PA in Social Work
  • Member of National Hospice and Palliative Care Association, National Association of Social Workers
  • Current experience includes home and inpatient hospice
  • Previous experience as case worker for Northampton County Children & Youth
