St. Luke's Hospital offers new state-of-the-art trauma facilities equipped with the latest technology needed to best care for the severely injured patient. All facilities provide immediate accessibility 24-hours-a-day.
Trauma Resuscitation Suite
St. Luke's Trauma Resuscitation Suite is designed to care simultaneously for multiple trauma victims of any age and offers a specially designated area for pediatric patients. The suite's contemporary design and equipment enhance the trauma team's ability to provide a quick response to any and all needs of the trauma patient. Facilities include:
- Overhead surgical lights
- An overhead mobile X-ray
- An anesthesia column that provides medical gases
- A fully equipped radiology suite
- A satellite lab to immediately obtain crucial test results
Radiology/CT Scanner
St. Luke's Radiology facilities include state-of-the-art diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scanning capabilities, which facilitate scans in seconds and produce a finer resolution than traditional CT scanners.
Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
St. Luke's Intensive Care Unit provides immediate access to critical care beds for the most seriously injured trauma patient. Utilizing the most up-to-date monitoring and respiratory support equipment, the staff of the ICU is capable of rendering the most advanced methods of care and life-saving interventions that may be needed.
Operating Room (OR)
St. Luke's Operating Rooms utilize a priority readiness system that provides immediate accessibility. The ORs are stocked with orthopedic, general surgical and neurological surgery equipment to handle any and all surgical trauma emergencies.
PPHP8 and 9 / CW4 / Pediatrics
PPHP8 and 9, CW4 and Pediatrics are specially equipped patient care units. Staffs have received intensive training to meet the specific needs of trauma patients with surgical, orthopedic and neurologic injuries. Pediatrics focuses on the needs of children under the age of 14.
