The New Beginnings Family Birth Center located at St. Luke's Hospital - Allentown Campus is pleased to offer a prenatal breastfeeding and educational opportunity to the community. We acknowledge the many benefits of breastfeeding for infants, women and their families. By providing education before your baby's birth, we hope to assist you in being better prepared for the important job of breastfeeding.
The informal class will cover the benefits of breastfeeding, how milk is produced, the techniques of breastfeeding, positions, comfort measures and potential problems and solutions. Written materials will be available to take home. Partners, family and friends are welcome. Free.
Classes meet in the East Wing Lobby of St. Luke's Hospital - Allentown Campus .
