Preparing for Board Certification in Emergency Medicine

The Emergency Medicine program prepares our residents for certification in Emergency Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine. All residents are certified and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

The following schedule is typical for the program. Electives can be taken but must first be approved by the Program Director. Surgical subspecialties include: plastic surgery, ENT, ophthalmology, orthopedics, and oral-maxillofacial surgery.
