Guidance of 15 Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians

St. Luke's Hospital - Bethlehem Campus is a Regional Resource (Level 1) Trauma Center, receiving patients from the greater Lehigh Valley area, the northeast section of Pennsylvania and also western New Jersey . St. Luke's cardiac program has also been nationally recognized for excellence.

When in the Emergency Department, the residents are under the guidance of 15 board-certified EM physicians. The residents participate in the evaluation and treatment of more than 70,000 patients per year who visit our department. There is a broad spectrum of pathology seen in the ED which includes our trauma, acute emergent cases, and also non-urgent presentations which are seen in our “fast-track” area.
