Robert Langan, MD
Program Director, St. Luke's Family Medicine Residency
Dr. Langan assumed the role of Family Medicine Residency Program Director in September 2006. A graduate of the Albany Medical College in New York, he completed his family medicine training at Naval Hospital Pensacola, Florida. He served an additional four years in the U.S. Navy, including three years as Department Head of Family Medicine and Pediatrics at Naval Hospital Cherry Point, NC. He joined the faculty of St. Luke's Family Medicine Residency in October 2003 and completed a National Institute of Program Directors Development fellowship in 2009. Dr. Langan has participated in two international trips to teach Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (Moldova (2006), Tajikistan (2007)) with Heart to Heart International. Dr. Langan and his wife have four children.

David Skillinge, DO, FAAFP
Director, Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency
Dr. Skillinge has been the osteopathic program director since April 2006 and oversees the Osteopathic Manipulative Clinic at the Family Medicine Center. He is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at St. Luke's Hospital in 1998 and a National Institute of Program Directors Development fellowship in 2006. Dr. Skillinge holds a CAQ in Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine. He is actively involved in medical student education at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Skillinge and his wife have two daughters.

Kevin Waninger, MD, FAAFP
Director, Sports Medicine Fellowship
Dr. Waninger started the Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship at St. Luke’s Hospital in 2005. He attended Temple University School of Medicine and completed a residency in family medicine at Underwood-Memorial Hospital. He then entered a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at The Ohio State University. Dr. Waninger has served as the head team physician for both the University of Delaware and Virginia Tech University. In 2002, he completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at St. Luke's Hospital and practiced emergency medicine at Union Hospital in Elkton, Maryland. Dr. Waninger has a special interest in concussion management and has several publications and both national and regional presentations to his credit. Dr. Waninger and his wife have one child.

Michael Krafczyk, MD, FAAFP
Dr. Krafczyk was the first Sports Medicine Fellow at St. Luke’s Hospital, and now coordinates the Primary Care Fellowship with Dr. Waninger. A graduate of Temple University School of Medicine, he completed his residency at DeWitt Army Community Hospital in Fort Belvoir, Virginia and served four years as a staff physician in the US Army before joining St. Luke’s in 2000. In addition to Sports Medicine, Dr. Krafczyk is interested in asthma, allergy, and acupuncture, which he performs at the Family Medicine Center. Dr. Krafczyk and his wife have four children.

Patricia Gotsch, MD, FAAFP
Dr. Gotsch received her medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed a family medicine residency at Hinsdale Hospital in Chicago. She remained there in both clinical and faculty practice for two years and then relocated to a rural private practice in Garrett County, Maryland where she provided full scope maternity care. Dr. Gotsch joined St. Luke's Family Medicine Residency in 2005. Her special interests include obstetrics, ultrasound and women's and children's health. Dr. Gotsch and her husband have four children.

Nguyet-Cam Vu Lam, MD, MS
A graduate of the Kigezi International School of Medicine in Cambridge, England and Uganda, Dr. Lam completed her family medicine residency at St. Luke's Hospital and joined the clinical faculty in 2006. Dr. Lam serves as the medical student coordinator for all affiliated medical schools (Temple University; Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine; Drexel University; University of Pennsylvania ). Her interests include maternity care. She and her husband have three children.

Paula Bordelon, DO
Dr. Bordelon is the director of geriatrics at the Family Medicine Residency. She earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, completed a family medicine residency at St. Luke's Hospital, and then completed a fellowship in geriatric medicine at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania and holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Geriatrics. She joined the Family Medicine residency in 2006. Her special interests include geriatric falls and incontinence.

Maria V. Ghetu, MD
A graduate of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Iuliu Hatieganu in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, Dr. Ghetu completed a family medicine residency at St. Luke's Hospital and a fellowship in geriatric medicine at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania and holds a CAQ in Geriatrics. She joined the faculty of the Family Medicine Residency as a staff geriatrician in 2007. Her special interests include dementia disorders. Dr. Ghetu has two children.

Susan Toohey, MA, MEd
Counseling Services / Psychotherapist
Ms. Toohey received her bachelor of arts degree from Cedar Crest College and a master of arts degree from the University of Northern Colorado. She will receive her masters in education from Lehigh University in May 2005. Ms. Toohey was awarded a Fulbright Grant to Germany and is currently a visiting lecturer at Lehigh University. In addition to counseling at the Family Medicine Center, Ms. Toohey provides counseling services at the St. Luke's Cancer Center and the Bariatric Surgery Program.
