Clinical Experience
End-of-Life Care
As a hospice and palliative medicine fellow, you will see patients in a variety of medical settings. These include inpatient consult care, inpatient hospice care at a dedicated hospice unit, home hospice care, nursing home hospice care and outpatient palliative medicine. Fellows will be assigned to home hospice interdisciplinary teams which they will follow longitudinally throughout their fellowship year in addition to their core rotations. The fellowship year will be broken up into the following clinical education rotation experiences which will include:
