After-Hours Calls and Emergencies
After office hours, a physician is on-call and available by phone 24 hours-a-day. These calls are for urgent problems that require immediate attention. To reach the on-call physician, dial the office number - 610-967-3646 - and the after-hours answering service will take your message. The on-call physician will promptly return your call. Please have all pertinent information readily available to assist the physician in handling your call appropriately.
For life-threatening emergencies, please dial 911 for an ambulance. The hospital physicians will then contact us.
Insurances/Referrals
As your primary care practice, we will coordinate your medical care. If you have a health question consult our office and we will guide you with the appropriate medical treatment. We will refer you to a specialist for treatment when medically necessary and continue to coordinate your care with the consulting doctor.
If your insurance plan requires a prior written referral or pre-authorization, you must call the office. Your insurance requires three to five business days (excluding Saturday and Sunday) to process your referral/pre-authorization. Referrals can no longer be backdated as of July 1, 2007. If you have any questions, you may call our office and we will be happy to help you.
Our office excepts most all major insurance plans. You may call our office for the list of plans or refer to your insurance manual. Co-pays are due at time of service. Payments are accepted in cash, personal check, Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card.
Prescriptions/Results
We require 24 hours to process your refill request. You may call the prescription line and leave a message for your refill or when seeing your primary doctor ask them for all your refills at that time of service.
