Focus on Pelvic Health

The St. Luke's Center for Pelvic Health helps people manage urine loss, frequency and urgency. Patients are able to have the following services:

Assessment of the problem

  • Exercises that strengthen the pelvic floor muscles and decrease urgency (Kegel exercises)
  • Fluid and dietary management
  • Biofeedback to help you learn to find and work your pelvic floor muscles
  • Assessment of pelvic pain with several treatment options
  • Appropriate medication therapy
  • Bladder retraining to manage leakage, establish a schedule of voiding and help with frequency
  • Complex bladder testing (urodynamics)
  • Pessaries to manage fallen pelvic organs
