Focus on Pelvic Health
The St. Luke's Center for Pelvic Health helps people manage urine loss, frequency and urgency. Patients are able to have the following services:
Assessment of the problem
- Exercises that strengthen the pelvic floor muscles and decrease urgency (Kegel exercises)
- Fluid and dietary management
- Biofeedback to help you learn to find and work your pelvic floor muscles
- Assessment of pelvic pain with several treatment options
- Appropriate medication therapy
- Bladder retraining to manage leakage, establish a schedule of voiding and help with frequency
- Complex bladder testing (urodynamics)
- Pessaries to manage fallen pelvic organs
