Insurance/Referrals

St. Luke's Family Practice at Palmer accepts most major insurances, including Medicare, Blue Cross and a variety of managed care plans (HMOs), such as Keystone Health Plan and Aetna US Healthcare.

As your primary care office, we will coordinate all of your medical care. Please consult our office whenever you have a question about your health - we will be able to guide you regarding appropriate treatment. Whenever medically necessary, we will refer you to a specialist and continue to coordinate your care with the consulting physician.

Unless your insurance plan allows you to go directly to a specialist, if you access specialty care without a prior written referral, you will be responsible for the fees associated with that care. We are not able to issue retroactive referrals for care already rendered. If you have any questions regarding referrals, please call our office. We will be happy to help you.
