If you believe a delay in treatment could result in a life-threatening situation, please go to the nearest emergency room for treatment and notify our office as soon as you are able.
Insurance/Referrals
Our office accepts most major insurance plans, including several managed care plans (HMOs). Please check with our office for a complete list.
As your primary care office, we are responsible for coordinating all of your medical care. We will refer you to a specialist for treatment if your condition requires it. Many insurance plans require written referrals from the primary care physician before a patient can see a specialist. Unless your insurance plan allows you to to directly to a specialist, if you access specialty care without a prior written referral, you will be responsible for the fees associated with that care. We are not able to issue retroactive referrals for services already rendered. If you have any questions about referrals, do not hesitate to call us. We are always available to assist you.
Lab/Test Results
The results of tests will be discussed with you in the strictest confidence. In some cases, a follow-up visit will be scheduled for the interpretation of the test results.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of the office visit. We accept cash, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover Card. Co-payments are not billable and are due at the time of service.
