St. Luke's Riverside
A New Health Care Experience at St. Luke’s Riverside
St. Luke's is breaking new ground to bring a unique health care experience to our region. At St. Luke's Riverside, patients and their families will have access to leading-edge medicine and some of the world's most advanced technology provided in healing and environmentally-sensitive facilities. St. Luke's Riverside will be situated on 500 acres located in Bethlehem Township and bordered by the Lehigh River, Rt. 33 and Freemansburg Avenue. Nearby I-78 will provide easy access from New Jersey, New York and the Lehigh Valley.
Clinicians, administrators, planners, employees and cancer survivors have been involved in the planning of St. Luke's Riverside. Together, they will help assure St. Luke's Riverside is conducive to health, healing and overall well-being. St. Luke's Riverside also will serve as an educational hub for training new medical professionals.
The first phase of development includes construction of a freestanding cancer center, one medical office building and an inpatient hospital. The cost of Phase I development is more than $100 million.
St. Luke's Riverside also will be the region's first "green" health care campus. For example, it will incorporate an array of environmentally friendly building materials and energy efficient lighting, heating and cooling systems.
