Arriving at St. Luke's

St. Luke’s Miners Memorial Hospital (Coaldale)

Entrances

St. Luke’s Miner’s Memorial Hospital has three entrances:

Main entrance - West Ruddle Street The welcome/information desk is located immediately inside, on the ground floor. Any employee is ready to help you to any area of the hospital. Patients who need NON-EMERGENCY services and outpatient testing should enter the Main Entrance. Visitors arriving to see an admitted patient also should use the Main Entrance.

Emergency Department – There are separate walk-in and ambulance entrances. The John E. and Dorothy Morgan Emergency Department is next to the Radiology Department for the imaging needs of emergency patients.

Oncology entrance - Seventh Street. This is a separate entrance for cancer patients.


Parking

St. Luke’s Miner’s Memorial Hospital has main patient and visitor parking at the Ruddle Street entrance in the front of the hospital. You will enter the hospital on the ground floor. More parking is available at the Phillips Street entrance in the rear of the hospital. If you enter the hospital from the Phillips Street parking lot, you will be on the first floor. You may proceed to the elevator, go to Level G and follow signs to the Main Lobby. Cancer patients also have their own parking at the Seventh Street entrance.


Welcome/Information Desk

The welcome/information desk is inside the Main Entrance. The staff will be happy to help you to any area of the hospital; can help you with area restaurants and hotels and other local services. To contact the welcome/information desk, please call 570-645-2131.

Hours

The Welcome/Information Desk is available:

Monday through Sunday: 7 am to 9 pm.

Between the hours of 9 pm and 7 am, all visitors should enter the hospital through the Emergency Department entrance.
