St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network is committed to providing quality health care at a reasonable price. For those patients who do not have effective health insurance coverage we offer the following discounts and payment options. We encourage you to meet with one of our financial counselors.
Financial Assistance Program for Uninsured Patients
St. Luke's provides medically necessary services to patients regardless of their ability to pay. As part of the financial assistance program, our financial counselors will assess each patient for eligibility for coverage through Medical Assistance, CHIP, Adult Basic and other programs.
Self Pay patients automatically receive a 40 percent discount on all hospital charges. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards are accepted, in addition to checks and money orders. Payment plans are available to help patients meet financial obligations.
Patients not eligible for any government programs who express an inability to pay will be evaluated for St. Luke's financial assistance program. Income, assets and family size will be used to assess eligibility. Patients with income up to 400 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines may receive 50 to 100 percent assistance with medical bills. In addition, individual cases will be reviewed for medical indigence, hardship situations.

For Self-Pay patients above the poverty guidelines, St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network offers a 40 percent discount on hospital services.
