Message from the President

St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital is a lot like many of the people we serve. In the face of higher costs, we must stretch every dollar. Small charitable hospitals have quite a challenge in the face of declining reimbursements from Medicare and insurance companies that cover only a portion of the total cost of providing hospital care. In fact, hospitals across the country are struggling to provide services and, unfortunately, many have been forced to close their doors.

St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital has been fortunate in that hundreds of caring individuals, like you, understand the importance of maintaining quality health care in our community and support it with charitable donations. Because of your past generous support, we have been able to do more than just keep the doors open. We are able to serve our community with ever-advancing improvements and high standards of quality. That's important because, in the close-knit communities in which we live, the patients we serve could very well be someone you know.

You can help to ensure that we are here for you, your family and your neighbors by making a charitable contribution to the St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital Annual Fund. Your generous donation will be put to use right here at your hospital to place the proper tools, technology and medicine in the hands of our very capable doctors and nurses.

Please support the mission of your community hospital.
