St. Luke's Riverside West - Building for the Future

With the goal of building the area's most advanced health care facility, St. Luke's has begun to develop 200 acres of former farmland in Bethlehem Township.
Plans for Phase 1 of Riverside West are slated for completion by the Fall of 2011. The plans include:
- A four-story 108-bed inpatient hospital
- A 77,000 square-foot medical office building, and
- A 48,000 square-foot cancer center
Plans for Riverside East, the 300 acres located
adjacent to the 200-acre parcel, have not yet
been finalized.
The decision to inlude a medical center in Phase 1 resulted from feedback from the area physicians who felt it was important to build a hospital along with the cancer center and medical office building. The new Riverside Hospital will start out as a medical surgical hospital that can be readily expanded at a later date.
