Endowment to Support Home Care and Hospice Services at the Visiting Nurse Association of St. Luke’s
The Visiting Nurse Association of St. Luke's provides more than 100,000 visits each year to individuals and families needing home health, hospice and other community health related services. The VNA fills an important role in the continuum of care by utilizing highly qualified health care professionals to prepare and educate patients and/or their families in areas such as self respect, effective communication and independence. At times, this means recovering from a hospital stay; sometimes it means educating a new mom on how to care for her baby; and many other times it means preparing for the end of life.
Our VNA receives requests for care from individuals from all walks of life - some who have the ability to pay and some who do not. Although we strive to accommodate as many of these requests as possible, we are unable to do so due to limited financial resources.
We would ask that you join us in our efforts to create a healthy endowment so that no one is ever turned away from receiving needed services now and well into the future.
