The following list represents opportunities during the school year for junior volunteers at St. Luke's Hospital - Bethlehem Campus.

Ambulatory Surgical Center – Discharge patients, make tea and toast for patients, restock supplies. Mon. – Fri., 4 to 7pm.
Gift Shop Assistant – Greets customers and completes sales, helps with daily upkeep of the shop. Must have math and customer service skills. Mon. – Fri., 4:30 to 7:30 pm, Sat. & Sun., 10:30 am to 2:30 pm or 2:30 to 5:30 pm.
Nurse Assistant – Assists staff in all aspects of non-clinical patient care. This may include bed-making, restocking supplies, providing water, and socialization activities with patients. Requires customer service skills and physical stamina. Three hour Patient Contact Course is required. Mon. – Fri., 4 to 7 pm.
Patient Access Center– Transport medical records to various departments, escort patients to different departments, use the pneumatic tube system, filing, and greet patients. Mon. – Sat., 8 am to 12 pm, 12 to 4 pm, 4 to 7 pm.
Pharmacy Assistant – Packages and tubes stat patient medications to nursing stations. Empties pneumatic tube carriers, distributes physician orders to pharmacists. Checks inventory for out-dated items. Mon. – Fri., 8 am to 12 pm, 12 to 4 pm, 4 to 7 pm, Sat. & Sun., 9 am to 1 pm, 1 to 4 pm.
Women’s Health Clinic Assistant – Assists with clerical tasks and restocks items in rooms. Mon. or Wed., 8 am to 12 pm, 12 to 4 pm, Tue. or Thurs., 8 am to 12 pm, 12 to 4 pm, 4 to 7 pm, Fri., 8 am to 12 pm.
